The Shard, also referred to as the Shard of Glass, Shard London Bridge and formerly London Bridge Tower, is a 95-storey skyscraper in Southwark, London, that forms part of the London Bridge Quarter development.
Working with Kone High Rise Centre in Finland, Dewhurst supplied US91 push buttons with white dual illumination for the lifts at The Shard. The car operating panels all had special cladding and so Kone selected Dewhurst push buttons as we were able to provide our US91 with special 14mm ‘long necks’ to allow the button to operate through the cladding. The US91 push button meets EN81-70.
